    Just got lowered, about time!

    Ok so I finally lowered my car, jeez it took a long time but I finally got around to it. I was gonna with Eibach springs 1.5 drop but they didnt have them so I just went with Apex 1.7 drop and KYB struts. Got warranty for 5 years on the springs, if they break or whatever they replace them and lifetime warranty on the struts, if they blow or lose thier pressure they replace them. It did ran kinda high but it would of been the same or more to buy them online, it ran $589.00 installed.

    Im really happy with the results, the drop is dead even in the front and back and the handling is insane and the ride is good, I dont find it that uncormftable. Im real happy, now I need to save up for rims. :) Just felt like sharing this with everyone.

    wtf 589 installed?! was it 589 for installation or 589 for the springs + installation..either way..it's friggin expensive..it takes 1-2 hours for a professional shop to install springs..

    It was $589 for the springs, struts and install.
    Apex 1.7 lowering springs ($200)
    KYB GR-2 Gas struts ($279)
    Install ($110)

    Total = $589

    i'm bidding on some a dropzone kit on ebay. it includes the struts and the coilovers. it's going to be alot better ride than my sagging suspension with crappy struts. i bought Bombz coilovers and some monroe struts. well, the coilovers sleeves wouldn't fit over the cap on the strut on top of the cylinder...so, anyone want to buy some monroe struts? or bombz coilovers?

    i have dropezone on my car ... I am planning on changing mine out though..... prolly going to go with teins, or eibac... i have tokico struts but i don't like the drop the dropezone gave me.. supposed to be 2.0 " , doesn't seem to be though.

    My dropezone are springs, not coilovers. I had r-1 racing coilovers on before that.. and they were really hard.... whiplash no doubt.

    yeah thats about the right price. good deal.
    yeah im wondering why you didn't go with the TEIN.
    i got tein. the scraping is the only disadvantage for me.
    i hate those dips!

    dropzone sucks. kyb voids hte warranty if used with lowering springs or coilovers. so dont tell them you had different springs if they ever blow.
