i have pioneer all around...the HU (pioneer premier DEH P760 MP) was a lil heavy for the dash so i have a lil tiny gap on the top, but not noticable at all, unless you keep on staring at it....the DEH P4600 doesnt look too bad especially for the price range that you want...the speakers are pretty good also with my car...i'd take the volume to 30 something and the speakers are still in tact..

pioneer is good, i have the panasonic but should paid the extra 20 bucks for mp3. panasonic is good if you like blue cqx-9300u i believe. but as far as pioneer speakers they dont put out to much bass. kenwood is good, polk db and momo series are good. how much money are you willing to spend on your system???

Ok so Saturday I'll probably be getting my car's audio done..I'm thinking of doing Pioneer all around. I want a reliable brand, not too expensive, and MUST play MP3's. I also don't want to spend over $200 on the head unit. I'm thinking of getting the Pioneer DEH P4600MP. Anyone have any other suggestions?? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have had great luck with all Pioneers that I have owned ( about 6 or so )

I have heard that the install in the 03+ can be a little tricky with the dashes slight curve and such make sure they do a good job with the mounting and insist on wiring adaptors being used.

    Good Luck

that is true..but then again, they are "speakers" & not a system. It works for just speakers.

On the speakers and the head unit I really wouldn't want to go over $550. I'm not gonna get subs and stuff cuz it's not necessary that's just too much sound for me hehe. I've seen some pretty nice head units like the motorized flip down ones but they are not detachable and I refuse to get anything that I can't take out of the car cuz the day you leave it is the day they'll steal it. I'm not too thrilled about the head unit I might get when it comes to looks but for the price I can't really find anything better =(
