i need to know if the engine mounts fit fine or if i have to get custom mounts made, thats the only problem i got to solve, to start doing the project myself.

    Only $1700? That's a very good deal!
And you should get the rear disc brake too!

The motor and tranny will drop right in... There are going to be a multitude of other problems you are going to have to worry about though.

Make certain you get everything as this will increase your chances of success. The engine mounting points are the same for the 1zz-2zz family. The Corolla XRS is using the same motor as the Celica GTS and the Matrix XRS and these have been proven to fit in place of the 1zz. If you are installing this into an 03 or newer Corolla, then it should be a farely plug-n-play operation. If you are not and your car is older than 03 then "good luck", It's going to be a good deal of work but it will work and the motor will fit...
