Looking to buy performance brake pads... Where to look?

I'm looking to get a high quality set of performance brake pads for less than $50. I've seen some on ebay like these, but how are they comparable to what I could get from some place like www.tirerack.com?

Also, what is the best kind of pad material for spirited street/autox use? Thanks.

Less than $50 for a hi performance pad?
    Good luck
    I paid $80 for Porterfield Kevlar RS-4
and $50 for Metal Master in the rear for my Spyder, but the corolla might be cheaper.

Actually, Tirerack.com has Hawk HPS pads for $48, so you can get them for less than $50. I'm not opposed to paying more, but just giving a ball park figure. Anyone else have suggestions or have a good experience with certain pads on their Corolla?

Get rotors and pads from tirerack.com...youll receive them for sure in less than 3 days, and its a reputable company.

FYI the kevlar brakes need to be warmed up for optimum performance.
In other words on those cold mornings you might not stop the same distance as when they were warmed. But they warm up quick;)

actually the dust is average. significantly less than stock i believe.

i encountered brake fade in the canyons last run but i just flushed my brake fluid with high temp wilwood fluid so i need to test again how these pads perform.
