    Help with MicroSoft Access

Hello ladies and gent...i'm working on this project at work...and i need to import some data into access...from and excel worksheet. I know how to import...that easy...but does anyone know how to automate that import?

cause my boss said that a while back...and i mean a while back...there was a co-worker...that is no longer with our group...that created an access database that imported an excel worksheet automatically as soon as you hit the save button in the worksheet...

does anyone know how to do this? if so...could you please post the process...

    thanks!

this is the only free thing I could find
    http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/index.php
you have to write scripts manually I think.. but it'll simulate mouse movements, typing etc that would copy the text over

an alternative is to save a file as tab-delineated format then import that to access.. it usually has the best accuracy for getting the tables right.(only works with single sheet excel files though)
