Pretty much what everyone else said... never tried the dental floss though... If you have fingernails or a toothpick, pick at it and get a piece sticking up. Get enough of a grip on it so that you dont just pull off chunks. Rather slowly peel it off in one peice. The less you have to pick at an edge, the less of a chance of scratching your paint. Clean up with paint safe goo remover...

If you have a tough to remove decal get a 3M stripe removal wheel... stripes, graphics, its all good. it just goes in your drill chuck. its like a spinning rubber disk. works like an eraser, fast... it looks like you are ruining your paint, but the "eraser dust" wipes right off and it's safe. get them here: http://www.vinyldirect.com/vd.asp?Param=2,7076
    cool tool...

    Safe Decal Removal?

Anyone know a good way to remove decals without dmaging or scratching the paint? I have th Indigo Ink on the 03 Rolla so you know how nice the paint is. I don't want to scratch the paint.

Mine came off easily after being parked in the South Texas sun all day. Maybe you could try a heat gun, that should work.

I got some dental floss and slid the decals off, then I got some Adhesive Remover made especially for cars by 3M and it came off immediately, afterwards I waxed the car, it looks perfect now.

I had a Toyo Tires decal near my gas cover and I took that one off. Thanks for your help guys. I used a blowdryer. There is still a little adhesive ther and it can come off. I applied my new TRD decals today instead. Thanks guys!

I saw some plastic razor blades that we used to use at work to take off stickers before, they didn't scratch if they weren't really old. Don't remember what brand they were but they worked good for us. Just sprayed soapy water and the decals came off pretty easy...
