Turbo plans cancelled: car fell off lift :*(.

    Turbo plans cancelled: car fell off lift :*(.

    So I finally got all the parts ordered for my turbo, so I brought my car over to the shop to have them start doing preliminary fitting and such for the turbo manifold (I got the JGSTools manifold, which still requires welding the T3 and wastegate flange on). We also had to figure out if it's possible to run a 3" downpipe since it's a tight fit. Anyway, we got the car up on the lift when one of the pinch welds (where the jack points are) suddenly bent and shifted the car's weight. I guess the safety locks on the lift didn't engage, but it dropped the drivers side down and the car tilted to the side, then backwards off the lift smashing into one of the four Dynopacks in the shop. I am so upset by the turn of events. As usual, I had my camera with me (24/7) and took pics of the whole mess. I'll find out what's going on from the insurance company later today. Here's the pics:

    ya know...... with my luck i've had with my mr2 i totally believed that it happened...... i could probably list a ton of things that have happened to this car that most cars will never have happen (get almost totalled when parked, caught on fire WHEN ON JACKSTANDS IN THE GARAGE, almost catch fire a couple other times... etc....)
