same size all the way there is some purple material hose thing ( whats it called) that attaches the intake to the manifold and the filter that comes on just fits right on the end , and of course the little metal things that make everything stay on tight... it'd pretty nice... the little hose that comes with it is really long so you can cut it shorter... i cut off a peice and wrapped it around the hole that te intake goes through to come out under the bumper so the metal on my intake doesn't get scratched, but it is powder coated that grey color. I like mine.. i think they did a really good job making that!

    E.L. Prototypes Intake question

Is the intake pipe the same diameter the whole way thru or does it get narrower towards the filter's end?
I can't tell by looking at the picture, bad depth perception

what kind of metal is it made out of?

if there's no reducer that comes with it, then the pipe probably does get narrower so it attaches to the intake manifold

so basicly it drops down into the hole where the resonator box was attached previously, do you have to move the battery a litte to make it fit?

How wide is the pipe?

Thanks

the battery is all good in the current location, as far as pipe diameter i think it 2 1/4"
