most companies dont know jack crap about corollas. they mostly put 98-00 and leave out the years 01-02. or even 98-01 and they think the 02 is the newer models. they should research their crap, it's costing them lots of valuable customers.

just wondering, since you are doing all 4 years, are the manifold bolts and the rest of the exhaust system line up the same?

Anyways,i guess you could make headers for the 98-02 corolla,as long it gives alot of horse power.

    hmm..

Aight as for Nexus they aint got no header out...they got the prices but lI told that to someone already..anyhow I was talking to a rep for nexus...theyd get the header in production if they had a reasonable amount of peeps buying it, which is logical why invest in something thats only gonna have about 4 peeps buying it..as far as the hype on the headers..u wont really notice much excpet a maybe 4-7hp gain and thats in the higher rpms and just IMO I wouldnt rev up the engine to that point just to gain 5hp..I learned the hard way and now im paying for it big time..Im looking for a valve seal job and possibly replacement of piston rings...so now im contemplating keeping the 1zz which seems to be somewhat weak or swapping in a 2zz like that guy Shyguy or what not with the pimp blue rolla. BUT back to the headers if yall interested hit me up or let homeboy from Racingsolution know whats up...peace

you do know that swapping a 2zz-ge isnt' as easy as putting a b18 into a civic..it's not a direct swap and lots o mods have to be done

Good deal... Im taking the exhaust manifold to the manufacturer on 10/7/04 to take a look at it and see if we can figure out some pricing .. The interest level is quite high... so the next step will be to determine what people want the most out of the header (i.e. cost, performance, looks, etc) ... I'll post up another thread for that

I met with the manufacturer again today... I gave him our stock exhaust manifold.. he said its horribly pieced together and that we'll see some very good gains from it..

As it stands now, the setup we're we're looking at is a 4-1 step design with a merge collector with mandrel bent mild steel, laser cut flanges, with either ceramic or just regular "Get-the-job-done" paint.

I'll post more up here when I have the info for you.

Ok well that previous company I mentioned screwed me and took my manifold... so heres the deal..

I can start a group buy for the Nexus Industry header for the 98-02 ... They will be available around the middle of March. They are getting a very limited supply of them so if you want one, join the groupbuy and snag yours when they first come in.

I will post a link up for a groupbuy page shortly... MSRP is $435 for the header.. I'll see what I can do on the price depending on how many people join in..

Yah.. the MSRP is $435.. I'm looking at a price of about $350 if I can get around 10 people who want one.
