    85-87 Corolla GT-S questions

Hey, im looking at selling my 1995 Corolla DX. I have many mods as you can read in my signature. I want a car a good RWD car. Im looking at either a corolla GT-S or a Nissan 240sx. Both can be worked on, and both are about same price. If i got a GT-S rolla it would have factory lsd, and all the options. I just dont know what all can be done to them, as far as any easy swaps, rebuild engine for like 2000 and make it powerful or what. I know the 4AGE has lots of potential. If you all can give me direct links to read up on this or tell me id appreciate it. Thanks

I've owned an AE86, and I've been in the community for several years.

That being said, get a 240sx. The only reasons I say that are:

240s are much cheaper (thanks to Initial D  AE86s are off the charts)

240s are much easier to find (AE86 have always been rare)

240s are much more powerful out of the box (40% more power), have more potential, and it's pretty easy to swap in a SR20DET, which is a great engine with even more potential.

plus the 240 has a modern drivetrain layout..... independant rear, as opposed to the corollas solid rear axle

there seems to be a more readily available and diverse aftermarket for the 240 also

plus when you buy a 20 year old car youre going to be fixing so many things before you can start modding it really drains the wallet and your patience..... ill tell you this firsthand
