    Problems with gauge cluster swap.

ok, so i bought this gauge cluster w/ tach from ebay, as everyone had said here the Odometer readings are stored in the ECU, thats wrong... atleast in my case... it just displays the ODO readings the new tach brought(wich is over 20k more than my actual readings), any idea on how to swap the readings or maybe some kind of reset so it can read it off the ECU?

Also it seems to have a small electrical problem... when i turn on my left bliker the dash turns on the rear defroster light? any ideas on how i can fix this also?

Also, someone once said i would get the outside temps w/o any problems but it just reads "-Er" or something similar on the outside temp display, any help here also?

I'd really apreciate your help guys.

    thnx.

you need to swap the speedometer heads to get your mileage back. the error for the temp is because you do not have a temp sensor. dont know about your defrost/signal situation

On the 98-02 parts list that I have it shows the tach and speedo as like separate modules maybe you can exchange the speedo section only with yours. ???? CW

^bump^ hasn't anyone changed their gauge cluster and has this left blinker / rear defroster problem?

or doesnt anyone have a pin mapping of the 98-02 gauge cluster?
