    DIY Modification Survey...

I would like everyone to post there favorite Do It Yourself modification they have performed on their corolla or prizm. My favorite modification I have done on my prizm is the air/fuel ratio in car adjuster, I found this secret on a toyota corolla website. I love the performance boost I received from the few $ investment.

My favorite DIY was taking my interior apart to trace a sound system problem. I got pretty far into removing things and I learned a lot.

i have 2 ( actually my whole car is DIY, i havent paid for anything to be done to my car )

    1. when 2 friends of mine and i were doing an engine replacment in my car, i accidentally put 2 bolts backwards where they were supposed to be, for the power steering pump, so to get them out we had to cut a hole in the fender, and as i was trying to pry it open a little more, the bar slipped and i cut all the skin off my knuckle
still have the scar, and it still hurts when i hit it on anything

    2. when i had to replace my shift cable, we got the center console out and got the cable out, got bored cause that only took like 20 mins, then decided to start taking everything out, first the headliner then the seats and so on, then we painted it 2 days later, and replaced the headliner and put it back in

no, I ordered a specific caliper paint from ebay and it came with all the stuff, like i had to mix some things together and then you have to use it within like 40 mins of mixing it b/c then it becomes thick and sticky like glue. i have forgotten the name of the brand, its one of the ones that everybody reccommends. i really like it though and it worked well and has stayed on nicely.
