I'd say you're paying too much for a motor that is nothing more than a low mileage motor.

It's like buying a sticker from a Japanese Toyota dealership, same thing, just going to cost you more. Nothing special about it.

    2400 is a lot......

my swap in my ae92 was around 1600... including motor, flywheel, MSD 6al,blaster 2, 8910 eis, SARD adjustable FPR, b&m fuel press. gauge kit, all hoses, new radiator, all fluids, new plugs, wires, filter, KBD header, full exhaust (including high flow cat), GTS gauges (including the 2nd set with oil pres. and voltage), new cap & rotor, new sensor that was broken on the 4ag, new throttle cable (was NOT a direct swap, either)

the swap in my mr2 so far has cost me $700 for the 4agze and trans, $200 for the ecu and power relay board, and less than $100 in engine bay paint/plugs/battery relocation parts.....

what a waste. i would have bought a block and started from scratch with higher comp pistons than buying some 1zzfe from japan.

i'd rather say my higher compression engine whoops your stock japan ass, i could care less where its from.
