i need somebody to design a better logo or a full header for the new vvti.net.. so if you have any idea or design, please post it here.. thanx

i like kickarse's specially the last one with "toyota comunity" on it... lets make some kind of vote... wut u guys think?

ya a vote would be best. but i honestly feel we need to have other toyota's on there since this site is for all types of toyotas as well as other cars.

there are two designs available right now... i like both of them..
but.. i'll see if anybody else want to make different logos..
and in a few days.. i will have make a poll for you guys to vote on

yeah its a toyota community..... but a community of corolla owners started this whole thing up. i feel we should keep with out roots and stick primarily to the corolla, seeing as how this site is primarily occupied by corolla owners. mr2s have spyderchat and the IMOC, supras have supraforums, celicas have new celica.org as well as others, old school toyotas have club4ag, i think c-three/vvti.net should stick with the more recent corollas (i.e. 88 and up primarily, and fwd)

I totally agree. We have several localised Corolla forums, but I feel this is usually the place to be Nationally when it comes to Corollas (US).

There have been very few people come here that don't have Corollas. Also, people will need to get more model specific when it comes to posting.

what if i made my banner a lil longer and included a celica in it?

we should get a thread where we could see all the banners and then open up a poll... give anyone that has an idea post and give them a week or so to create... then we vote!

lol... i can do anything that we agree upon... I even thought about a site design too... i'll post up a mockup later...

About the design for the logo a few things to consider...

1. It IS mainly made up of Toyota cars
2. It IS mainly made up of Corolla's
3. The community is made up of just toyota corolla's
4. We can't make the logo too busy or else it will look tacky
5. Just becuase we are mainly Toyota Corolla's doesn't mean that people that have other cars that see the logo as a Toyota Community wont post. The fact still remains, we aren't just a general forum with everyone with very different interests. We searched for a Toyota forum and stumbled and found this gem. So we shouldn't change.
6. I still can't make anything tacky
7. Also have to remember people's resolution restraints when designing and color safe web colors.
