i want to paint the pins red... can i do that? if i can, can i just pull it out? and what other things do i have to do when putting them back?

i want to do this coz i got super white leds for the lights, and i figured that red pins would really look sporty...

Indeed, highly recommend against pulling the needles. I spent quite a while recalibrating the speedo on a cellphone while stopping and going and adjusting. (had a friend drive the same speed as me and call out numbers, lol).

you can do that sure, but realise IT IS going to fade over time and become a pinkish/orange just like the bulbs that are painted, but youll have the effect you want for a while
