toyota advertises the xrs as .5 inch lower than the rest of the corollas. the tein stech drops the regular corollas 1.5 inches so you'd probably get an inch drop.

i've heard other corolla owners say the stech has a stiffer ride but not punishing.

    XRS + Tein =

Installed a set of Tein springs on Steven's (TooFastXRS) and the car looks that much more agressive. The ride stayed relatively smooth considering.

i love the s-tech springs. Honestly they're the smoothest riding lowering springs I've ridden on. I've had friends ride with me several times and then when I mention later that the car is lowered 2.4" they can't believe it.

Weird though - the teins looked the same as stock. Looks nice lowered a bit though. I'm willing to bet he'll like the ride and improved handling. I know I do, and if these are too rough for him, he needs to forget about suspension modifying lol

Not a huge difference, but it looks more aggressive. The handling is probably better due to the stiffer springs, which is where the real difference comes in.

Are those S-Tech or H-tech? How much is the drop? Is it the factory rated one or the factory rated one minus the .5 inch the XRS has.

I really want to know about this, I WANT TO DROP MY CAR  .

And how the ride after the drop, is it still smooth like stock or it got rougher?

Took roughly three hours but only because I had to go to Autozone and get an allen key to replace my missing one. The job can be done in as little time as two hours and possibly less if you have a better jack

The end result was just over 2 1/4 inches of drop, after setteling and what not. The ride is just a bit stiffer and it handles 100% better. It is a MUCH more agressive look, and looks even sexier during the day and in person....much love to Jeff and the peeps at Adventon.com.

    yep!

i know, but when it comes to the suspension portion of the warranty...i dont care. I wasnt gonna drive around for the duration of my 10 year/100,000 mile warranty with a 2 inch wheel gap. Thanks for the info though!

All you had to do was PM me or email me from the install thread I started over at the SoCal Forum section...

I'd hate to know what you paid Autobacs to install them... :O
