It will void your suspension warranty only.

i think if you buy from the dealer and ask dealer to do it, u will be covered but you gotta check with the dealer. it'll cost you big $$$ though!

Yea ask the dealer maybe if they do it they wont void the warrenty... but I know they charge a good penny. Mine was lowered only one inch when I bought it with TRD lowering springs so it didnt void...Plus I had a car that was lowered 2.0 before and man...it was a hassle for me.. LOL. I drive wild. LOL.. so one inch is good for me...not to much but just right for me.

Toyota dealerships do TRD stuff includling lowering the car etc. and it does not affect your warranty.

I had the same question before. But I asked the dealer. They said if you get trd parts and installed my them will will void your warrenty. But i forgot to asked them do i have to buy it from them or not.

And they said if you installed any aftermarket springs even trd springs not by them and it caused any problem to your car because of that, the warrenty will not cover it.

So they HAVE to be TRD Springs and installed by them? I cant buy Tein's and have them install it correct?

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow and see what the deal is, and if I have to purchase the springs from them or if I can take them in.

if you ask me... i will go buy trd or whatever springs (brand) i want and go to a good shop and get it done properly/professionally. i won't buy or get it done by the dealer just coz they charge an arm and a leg. drawback to this is the warranty issue but if you buy a good brand and get it done by a good shop then you should be ok.

Ah...my problem is my parents bought me the car because of the warranty, I don't want to mess around with it and then be warranty'less.

if that's the case, leave everything as-is (factory) coz your parents bought the car and if you void the warranty - you will be in deep doggy doo!
if you really want to do it, have the dealer do it but it'll be expensive with TRD stuff. goodluck!

I've convinced them somewhat on atleast letting me drop it, that way I can have rims and I'll be content till I can do the rest to it.

I'm assuming putting an exhaust also voids the warranty?
