    93-97 lowering springs on a 01

I searched the forum and found the same question just 98-02 for a 93-97.. well
people replied they are basically the same springs...

A friend of mine is selling me an Aerospeed 2" lowering springs off his 93-97 rolla, the question is... right now i'm on 14" steelies would a 2" drop be advisable? would it be so low that i couldnt pass a speed bump w/o scratching the bottom of my car... what about the ricer bouncy bounce? is that gonna be an issue?

The bouncy bounce comes with any drop, just depends on your struts and thier condition as well as the springs condition as to how noticable.

As far as the 14's, they're better than slapping some damn 20's on to raise the hight. Getting bigger rims flat out contradicts the purpose of the lowering springs.

Oh, and why do you have 14's on a car that 15's were stock size?

pass on the arospeeds. Arospeed is crap. seriously you wont be happy with the drop at all.

    BTW 01's have 14's stock.

Buddy, go get Teins. I just dropped my car with s-techs.. no bouncy bounce and im on stock struts. its actually stiffer and the performance of it isnt too bad either. Oh yah... body roll... it's practically gone. I'm satisfied with it. The drop isn't that low that you'd have to swerve every dip just to get through it but you will have to do it a little bit.

like he said, 14's steelies were stock. if u got alloy rims, then it was 15's.
