    strut bolts

I have to put new strut mounts on. I know that the two bottom bolts on the strut have extreme pressures on them. Is it possible to remove the strut to knuckle bolts with just a 1/2" breaker bar or do I absolutely need an impact wrench.

You only need a good breaker bar to get them off. The only thing I have come close to not being able to remove with a breaker bar has been the axle bolt on the drivers side axle on my car.

Yup me n a friend snapped a craftsman breaker bar taking off a axle bolt on a rusted out integra. Breaker bar works for just about everything else.
