Do it if you like your rims to be mistaken for steelies from far away ;)

i'm keepin the color cuz i like the 3K9 color... plans hmmm.... jdm fx bumper, or lip kit, bomex style side and rear, jdm fx headlights and grill or black housing projectors headlights... plus plans are also to get TOM's 16" intercept hyper black rims but i'll keep this set of 15" for winter use...

I'd go gloss black or a gunmetal color. My wheels have held up suprisingly well with just paint.

I think gunmetal is better than black on your car.
Are you going to paint it by yourself or bring to to shop?

I have the same color corolla as yours.....im planning to paint my rims black but keep the lip silver the way it already is......they were gunmetal w/ black but the gunmetal color is not even dark enough for me....my color scheme for my car is gonna be beige and black n maybe grey or silver.....i think the beige color of your car would be perfect with glossy black rims n silver lip...but i hope u add lowering your car to your future plans..

hey in pics, black rims look good... in person gloss black tends to make an uninviting color contrast with the ashy tires.... as all tires look if you don't bathe them in oil 24/7. 3 ppl up here at uah have black rims and they don't like them after a while.

i think gunmetal wheels are ok, but if its just gloss black i think it looks kinda tacky on an import, i've seen it done on high end cars, like a 2004 yellow Ferrari with gloss black wheels, it looks good, but a simply Corolla with gloss black looks weird.

Yeah, i was going more towards gunmetal aswell. It will go more with the carbon fiber tails and center piece that I have cause there around the same shade.

I would paint them and use them for winter wheels and then I would buy a rim with a chrome lip that are like 5 strokers and gunmetal color of course OR IF POSSIBLE I'd paint them hyperblack they might be dark but they'll shine......just an idea though. Plus if u paint then all bacl well with the color of your car the wheels wouldn't look too good and like shifty said they might look like steelies.

What's the reason for having winter wheels. Winter weather is harsher on wheels or something.
