    Koni or Machine Wheels?

Hi. im thinking whether i shuold get konis or machine my wheels. cuz the problem is i have 5zigen rims w/ 225/40/18 tires and +35 offset. offset for corollas my year shuold be around +42. so when i had my old springs, i would rub front and back. but i bought GC and they barely rub but the bakc still rubs a bit so i had to raise it up. the fronts are ok.

so my question is, should i get Konis for the back for now so i can drop it so the car is level or just machine my wheels to a +42 offset? machining is 75 per wheel. any suggestions? and getting new rims is not an option haha. neither is getting thinner tires. thank you!

did you get the 18x8 or 18x7.5 rims. I do think your tires are to big. That may be why you have rubbing issues. I have koni yellows with ground controls. It may help a little because you can adjust the dampening. but if your tires are flush with the fenders, there is very little or nothing you can do except raise the rears a little higher. can you email or post some pics.
    thanks.

I have a 03 corolla. I know the rims dont rub, he just has the wrong tire size. I would just like to see a pic. I just picked up a set of 18x8 ssr velberts with a +49 offset with 215-40-18 neo gens. no rubbing or clearance issues what so ever.

    it all depends
on your offset. you have an 18x7.5 but ure offset is good not 35 like mine thats why ure not rubbing. also the width of the tires like hawaii's 215 also keeps it from rubbing and his offset of 49 keeps the tires well inside the car.

hawaii: im trying to renew my domain so i'll try to post it up as fast as i can
