Alarm...

    i have no idea all i know is that its audiovox......and i reset it by unhooking the battery....i think theres a bad connection....

    Alarm...

    Hey guys-
    Took my car into the shop and they did something to my alarm. I tried reseting it like before, but it just wont beep anymore. What contacts should i check?

    It sounds like the "valet" function has been turned on. Read your owners manual to find out how to turn that function off so that the alarm functions like normal.

    yeah thats what happened when we bought the car...undoing the battery resets it....thats whats messed up..when i unhooked it and put it back on it went on REALLY SOFT not like HOLY FUCK ALARM...so im thinking bad connection?

    haha im stupid

    so im just checking the wires and i close the door when its armed and it works! they didnt tighten the ground down enough! haha
