    Supercharged Corolla MPG Question

If anyone on here has a newer Corolla 04-05 with the TRD Supercharger how did it affect your MPG? I know, I know....who cares about MPG if I am supecharging anyway right?

But I traded in a Mustang GT due to shitty gas mileage, so I would like to hear how you guys with the S/C are being affected MPG wise if you don't mind. I am currently averaging around 37 MPG with my commute and with the gas prices going up and up I would like to stay somewhat close.

    Thanks!

Im not sure... I cant get myself to go a whole tank of gas without getting on it all the time (its too fun). Its still pretty good, just not as good as N/A obviously. Still way better than that GT Stang got you

    thanks..........

I figured it would still be in the low to mid 30's on MPG.

I would assume that the highway mileage would be darn near the same since it is running very little boost at about 3000 rpm anyway right?

TRD Springs and TRD exhaust are coming first.....then I will move my way into the engine bay.

You really want to know, MPG before is 36 Local 40 on Highway, After install TRD S/C ,Intake,Muffler, header, pipe, down to 22 or 20 mph in Local 26mpg per high way...... so it's like 30 to 50% off range..... However, S/C kick ass ^^ but expensive on the gas.

Is that driving slow or 'normal'?

I usually get ~28mpg average (city/highway split roughly even), but I'm heavy on the gas..that's n/a.

Thanks for all the replies.......not going to be doing it for a while......like I said I want the springs and exhaust first.......

That and the fact that she only has like 1000 miles on her makes me leary about changing anything out so soon. But I sure am glad I got the Corolla S....she looks sweet and runs pretty well for only 130 HP.
