Nice, I was thinking of mounting my switches there when I redo mine. I have the same ones, but with blue LEDs. Yeah, I have people mess with my switches all the time. I'm the "dude with the cool car with lights" at some places. Lol.

Here is an idea...Create a custom switch, one different than the others and label it something that would catch the eye easily like Main Control Switch. Then when they get curious to see what it does, and it the switch...you have it initiate a speaker with a mean ass voice say "Don't Play With The Damn Switches, Nimrod!"

for those of you with aftermarket switches

For those of you with custom stuff in your car, do you ever catch people (who service your car) playing with them to find out what they do?

Everytime i take my car in to get serviced wether its oil, tires or whatever, i ALWAYS see my strobes go on...why do pple gotta be so nosy for?

lol, its just so funny watching the garage strobe, and then the back of my car flashes red...and once they hit that, i think the smart ones dont test the others, and the currious ones test the others...neons come on iniside, and underneath...its funny watching their expressions

Yeah, I know how to do it. I'll probably have to use a router bit since the hole is pretty large.

haha when i would get in some costomers cars i would touch the switches just to see what they do.

the best switch we found was the one that stopped the odometer. kinda sucked for that person because it voided there 7 year warrenty.

o ya, we ran a carfax a week after that and it failed and the car was less than 6 months old. which means the car is only worth something to him now. but the switch was like right there in plain view.

put an air horn on one of the switches, that'll stop them from pressing the other buttons.
