    Toyota's Put It In Play

Looks like it's Toyota's lame attempt on putting on an event like Mazda's Rev It Up. The driving "games" looks like were made for 14-year-olds that hang out at the local put-put/batting cages. The only thing that *might* be worthwhile is Speedtag since you actually get to drive with a pro.

    Where are the driving clinics?
    Where are the timed competitions?
Where is whole event are you supposed to learn about what a Toyota can do?

But I guess If I wanted to play dodgeball while streetracing on my way to the mall in my Corolla, then this event could get me primed for that?

they already held it in northern california this past weekend. It was aite. Wasn't all that. The driving games while sounding lame...well they are lame. no way around it. It was somewhat fun, but some of the games made u ask "wtf?" kinda of an intersting observation. Whenever i drove a corolla on a course i always managed to knock over some cones :) But driving the celica gts twice i didn't hit any cones at all. intersting isn't it?

Oh well i killed some cones and got a free dvd. not bad for a day of shortening the lifespan of numerous toyota vehicles.

OMG, what is wrong with the promoters at toyota? do they just toss a bunch of money at party planners and hope all goes well? I'm surprised they're not getting their ass kicked.. I guess their track record speaks for itself. It's like that simpsons episode where the lawyer is like "I'm so confident that I'm going to win this case that I'm going to hold a poll of whether or not this girl is sexy" wow, he's good.

You know toyota's campaign "just want to have fun" you know like a bucha snotty kids.. The wanna hang with the big boys but they cant, welcome to the new generation of toyotas..

Yea I was in at the Nor Cal one this past weekend too.. it was nothing like rev it up since they're not even there to teach you any driving skills, all you do is rip around a stock corolla on stock tires and stock suspension thru a narrow low speed track when the 'pro driver' tells you to "slow down this is not a race" Well in the one event - dodge ball, there were no 'pro drivers' so I got to rip on a slushbox 04 corolla and a fastOmatic celi GTS.. as always impressed with the celi.. rolla was just asking to be tipped over.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I'm definitely not going now. How the hell are you supposed to learn your limits and the limits of the car? This is just an insult IMO.

Welcome to the Toyota of the 21st Century....... nothing but "fun" APPLIANCES
