    Well I live in Canada
so not to worry about insurance

    BURN OIL FOR SURE?
yea but I will push the car to see if any problems arise
    and check oil and stuff

    so its not a good buy ? $988 Canadian + 14.5% tax

well, my mx-6 was nice....but it burned oil like a bitch. I took it on a road trip, and that was fun...me, the open road, headed to a truck show with my clothes and my CASE of oil (which was gone by the time we got back home). Then I was driving one day, I'm not really sure what happened, but the tranny just let go. It wouldn't catch the drivetrain, and I could rev it, the motor worked fine, but it wouldn't go anywhere cause the tranny wouldn't engage.

My DAD (on the record I did NOT do this!!!) decided to dump thicker tranny fluid into it, since we were already gonna have to buy a new trann, and he dumped gear oil into it. That made it get another 1/4 of a mile before everything in the tranny just compacted itself into one big metal lump.

I then sold it to a used car dealership for $150, and last I knew it's inside a junk yard up in NH.

LMAO...that was a brilliant answer lol

However, while I am sure that this would cause it to catch fire, some dynamite may be a little more effective in actually blowing it up...

well always check the lines to make sure there straigh. to see if the car has frame damage. also check the exhaust pipe and make sure it sticks straight out. um always drive the car around in a circle both ways. floor it, slam the brakes, and wiggle the wheel. umm and besides obious things make sure its what u want and dont settle.

That was the first year for those, It WILL burn oil !!, That is also the turbo 2.2 with added possible problems (and power), And since it is a GT the insurance will be higher.

And it was probably made in Japan !!!
