What year is your car? If it's a 98-02, it's easy. First thing, do it when it's hot out or very sunny. The warmer the adhesive, the easier it comes off. I suggest using 1 of 2 methods. One way is to use dental floss and run it between the badges and the car (this isn't usually easy unless it's really hot). Second is to use a credit card, I use a phone card usually, it's smoother than a credit card and I'd rather break that than my credit card. I use denatured alcohol (goo off) to remove any residue, be sure to rinse afterwards or it will eat your paint. Then wax.

I removed some of mine because so many people rip off badges now. Someone did that to my last car and left a nasty scratch on the trunk.

Nope, enjoy the work. When I was done rubbing off the excess with my fingers, the tips actually felt bruised.

I think this is how you do it.
1- heatgun or hairdry the badges so it melts the adhesive.
2- peel off the emblem but be careful about it cause it might be hot.
3- put Goo-gone on the adhesive thats left over.
4- rub it off with a towel.
