i agree. Chrome Does NOT Look good on most imports depending on the size and depth of the lip. If its a real deep dish wheel on a black supra...thats different (and i like)

Chrome Def doesnt belong on COROLLAS, civics, integras, accords, camrys, sentras, etc... help me out here...

mmmmm lippy wheels on a black supra...that's happiness.

lippy wheels look good on RX-7 FD3S as well.

for both...the bigger the lip, the better.

The only thing is, if you have a good racing wheel, like a Volk or an HRE, with a nice big lip on it, it is not chrome, it is polished aluminum. Chrome doesn't bond well to aluminum and just adds weight, so a chrome 18x9 wheel with a 2" lip on a Supra screams "crap" to me since any real Supra owner would have a true, light weight forged aluminum or magnesium wheel on their car. In my opinion, unless you are all show and no go, have and old school hot rod or own a "blinged out" SUV, you have no reason to get chrome anything on your car. No Supra owner I respect has chromed anything on their car, anything that is shiny is either polished stainless steel or machined aluminum. Just my 2 cents.

you have a point there. im not trying to say that what i think is right, its just an opinion. to me chrome doesnt seem right on an economy car, someone else may think differently.

no economy car should have chrome wheels on it. some nice sport cars, expenisive european made cars, and suvs are exceptions.

Personally, it is all in your taste. My question to the ones who say " chome is only for an SUV ", then wouldn't a turbo be only for sports car? Don't say that something is crap or crappy just because you don't like it, because I am sure that there are just as many people that are making fun of your 4 cylinder automatic econo-box. If someone [shaq] wants to put 26" rims on an escalade, and then lower it to where it is lower than your corolla, let them be. While saying that no economy car should have chome wheels, why don't you go ahead and say that no economy car should have a turbo charger, exhaust, cd player, or sound system. Remember guys, we all like cars, don't think that just because you don't like something about a certain car means that it is wrong or stupid, just imagine other people. There is a guy that lives close to me that has an under 10 second mustang (1/4 mile not 1/8). This guy still loves to come and talk to me about my car. I can guarentee that he doesn't start stupid posts like what is your take on white rims.
