it could possibly be the type of cds you are using, or something is messed up with your burner/software. I reccomend trying different software and see if you still have a problem. Ifyou do go buy a cheap cd burner for 10$ and that will solve your problem

I have a Alpine 9827 and I've mostly used mp3 cds and it works great for it but I recently didn't have enuff songs to make a mp3 so I burned a regular cdda type one I followed all specs it asked me to and finalized the cd as well I don't know why it keeps giving me the ERROR when I try to play em its happened to about 3 diff cd's i freshly burned in the past 2 days. Someone know how to deal with this ?

if the cd player wasn't made to play them then it will not play them.

i was just thinking that as I was reading down the thread. I have a feeling this may be the issue.

another idea is to let ur friend use one of ur blank CD's and burn something on to it and then try playing that CD. if it works then u know its ur burner, software, or ur not finalizing the CD.

try burning your audios cd's @ 24x or lower... right now 24x is the factory default for normal music cd's and some players have a hard time playing cds over 24x.

this used to happen to my old accord and its factory radio

    cheap discs?

I know my Pioneer HATES Memorex discs, but my MP3 CD changer loves them. TDK discs seem to work in every head unit I put them in.

I reccommend using NTI cd and dvd burner. Ive always used it and rarely have any trouble with it. It is very easy to use and user friendly. And it will burn any kind of cd/dvd. And its good for mp3 cds becuase you can make it into a real playlist, the song wont just be organized by date or whatever. Www.ntius.com

Maybe the files are licensed? I know on musicmatch they're microsoft format and have to connect to the server before they'll play. since computers don't have internet, they won't play.
