2004 side door bumpers????

    2004 side door bumpers????

    The title was really bleak. What I'm trying to find out is if it is possible to remove the side black(or painted depending on model) door bumpers.. They are located mid height on door..I guess to prevent door dings and carts hitting it...I think it's kinda ugly and want my car to look as smooth as possible.Does it hide anything underneath,like screws,bolts etc. and if I can get it off...it looks like 3m underneath it. Can i use just goo-gone to remove it... This is on the 03 and up models......ANYONE PLEASE HELP AS THIS WILL BE MY NEXT PROJECT>>>

    yes you can remove it. it uses double sided tape to stick on. no holes if you take them off.

    did it on mine...many of us have. yours is an 04 - and it'll look cleaner without the sidemoulding. trust me there :)
