even though you conveniantly forgot to copy and paste the res of that paragraph explaining how it isnt stock at all, i will just leave you with this qoute and a picture to challenge you in saying that this car was AT ALL stock
"The car was built by the HURST facilities strictly for Drag Racing!"
about as stock back in its day as "stock car racing" or "pro stock" is now

youd think that with it being "stock" and all, itd be "built by chrysler"

yeah those ss camaros would totally eat a corolla's shit. i used to think like you and rolla02, domestics suck and my 4 banger is awesome. in actuallity believe it or not, a v6 quite possibly could whoop a corollas ass, maybe even an inline 6! not to mention that a v8 would just barely if even take a corolla down, i hate those powerful domestics too.

I got one question not to be sarcastic but is a hyundai a domestic and they have the most problem out of any car, and that 100,000 or 10 year warranty gets you nothing.

First, no need to call me names if I haven't addressed a single issue to you. Second, I'm glad you were able to take time out of your busy life to tell me I lack one. Fucking dumbass.

Edit: oh and if you think that it takes me a whole fucking day to write one reply that would warrant me having no life, then you are sadly mistaken.

funny. J.D. Power & Assoc. recently rated Hyundai "most improved" of any make, and compared them to Toyota and Honda for reliability.

and shockingly, Kia is catching up to the Japanese makes as well.

American cars are showing improvement also, and were rated below Japanese & Korean cars for reliability and initial quality, but surpassed German cars for reliability.

    In other words, Japan>Korea>USA>Germany.

Ok......One of my goals for signing up for this forum was to piss people off and to let you know that probes are fast, sexy looking cars and i seemed to suceed in both, more pissing off then proving my points but, anyway i understand its all about your personal taste so i will leave it at that.

"fast and sexy" are definitely overstatements.

"quick for an economy car" and "kind of sporty looking" are far more accurate.

I've seen data sheets put the fastest production car put down the Hemi Cuda with the 10.5 1/4 run. I believe it was 71ish.

no, that was a dodge charger - same company, different car. (and definitely not a stock charger lol massive blower) though stock chargers are fast as hell anyway.

with a name like HYUNDAI would ya really think it's not made somewhere in asia? lol - it's korean. It's actually the father company of KIA if I'm not mistaken - and also did business with ford in the past (my friend's ford festiva has "manufactured by KIA Motor Corp. for Ford Motor Corp." stamped on the door jamb.)

and a probe isn't domestic anyway. btw, if your dad hates ford so much, he prob should've done some homework before buying a mazda pickup aka ford ranger

The ford probe GT with 2.5L V6 has about 160 or 170hp, cant remember its exact figures. It has nice get and go to it. If your wanting speed, then go with the probe. If your wanting better fuel eco then go with rolla. The 98+ rollas have better go than a 93/97 rolla, so look at that if you want some speed to the rolla. Cause i saw you said 96+ rolla.

Thats my 2 cents, and oh yeah, probe is 2 door hatch and higher insurance :)

no, daewoo was independent, now owned by GM, hence the Aveo.

that's surprising that a stock Cuda would be the fastest. I woulda thought the superbird would be faster.

mx6 93- whenever.... the v6 is a pain to work on... roommate has one, it doesn't currently run (i don't touch the car... he's too lazy to)..... the v6 mx6, however, is much quicker than the ae101/102 in stock trims.... the v6 uses the same slave cam setup as the toyota FE heads..... his mx6 and my ae92 are very similar in straight line speeds with my smallport 4age (when his 6 is running)
