I am a Pro Software Engineer working as a Programmer Analyst for a large software company so you are what I was a few years ago bro and sorry education has nothing to do with what you are talking here or maybe I fail to see the reason why academics need to be brought into the equation.

You got the love part right. Yes, I am big fan of Toyotas and most likely all of my cars in the future would be Lexus or Toyotas unless something in my mind comes along that exceeds my expectations farther than this brand does. Although, I appreciate any brand that comes out with a great product.

actually i was just talking, not necessarily making it pertain, but saying that i don't know about 'numbers of sales or percentages of appreciative customers.' i wasn't trying to bring up academics at all, i was trying to say you know more.

you seemed on the defensive like i was saying i knew everything people feel about the car; i dont and i dont research it. that is why i told you what i have to research, and how it isn't cars. that was my point. i also put a smiley to show i was trying to pull a more positive vibration. :) :p :( :D

Yeah I know what you are saying. I am a bit obsessed with Toyotas and research on them in my spare time. Call me a loser, but oh well can't help it. :D ;)

You ladies need to stay on topic.

I can't wait to here questions pop up asking, "What RPM does Dual VVT-i kick in?" or comments like "I really feel the VVT-i kick in! Both of them!". Or even better, "Can I swap in the IS250/350 engine into my (insert car here)". Damn n00bs.

Hm...I never was a big fan of the M3 (partially because I'm biased against coupes like that, in addition to the fact that there's an M5). So in my case, if they come out with a 2-door IS, I'd puke.

Like others said, with that kind of speed, it will amount to a huge chunk of pocket change (or your left testicle if you don't have it). And let's not forget the fact that after the price goes down, you'll see yourself driving the same car as everyone else (remember how M3 used to be rare, until BMW dropped its price?).

And have you guys seen the interior on the new IS? I hate it :signIMO:

Yeah, M3 is one of my most favorite cars. It is not the fastest car around, but it certainly is the most complete package. Luxury, performance, handling, style. It has it all.

So I'm guessing they're dropping the bulletproof Inline 6 for V6....seems less and less likely they'll bring back the supra....gonna miss that I-6 :(

Yeah, the last of the inline 6 is gone. It served it's company very well. I would always remember this masterpiece by looking at Visionboy in his 719 whp Lexus IS300 ripping it up on the streets. :D
