not all products from APC are crappy, my muffler is from them and I have had it on for 2 years and outside of being dirty, there are no problems with it and it still sounds like the day i put it on

Make sure that when you buy a hub and steering wheel. You get the same bolt patterns on them both. Some brand such as Sparco have a 6 hole pattern, while APC steering wheels have a 5 hole pattern.

If you buy a Sparco steering wheel, and you buy the correct Sparco hub that fits your car, you shouldn't need to worry about the bolt pattern. This should be the same for all brands so you shouldn't have to worry about this.

Well thats true if he sticks with the same brand. But when I purchased my steering wheel I couldn't find a hub from the same company that makes my steering wheel to fit my car. Just pay attention to the bolt pattern, and better yet as mncrolln said.... just get the same brand. I know that MoMo makes a hub for a 98 corolla, and they also have some kick ass steering wheels, but they are high end so be ready to fork over the $$$ for them. If you are having a major problem, just go to the person who is going to install it and let them help you out with it.
