    ground wires

what do they do? is there any power gains? cause all i've heard is that ground wires just make the car run a bit more efficient. is that true?

also...how do you install (i mean to what...soo many wires)?

    thanks!

What they do is make your car run smoother from what I heard. Some people said they got better gas mileage. Lights dont dim any more when bass hits. All kind of good stuffs. Im planning on doing it when I have time. Look at Vamp's DIY will give you a better idea on how to do it.

You won't get better gas mileage...it does nothing to affect fuel flow. This comes from personal experience.

Power gains are about 1-2 whp and maybe a bit more torque, mostly to the low and midrange section of the powerband. You won't be able to feel that however, and if you dynoed it would be within the margin of error of the dyno...but these are consistent gains over many dynos.

You're right that it makes the car's electrical system more efficient (byproduct of this is that less engine power is taken away by the electrical system). You can actually make your lights and sound system brighter and louder by doing this. I've heard that it can help smoothen out your idle a bit as well (based on the health of the electricity system before the mod).

wow I was just thinking about getting grounding wires today and wondering what they actually do. hummm. sweet but are they still worth the money and how hard are they to put in.

i've read the post and threads...and i still dont understand how to install...all you do is "bolt" the wire to the different bolts in the engine bay....and thats it?
