guess ill unbolt it sometime tomorrow, and hope for the best.....rather risk a fix it ticket than run over my bumper, destroying it, shredding my tires and possibly killing myself

I don't think its illegal not to have the cover on as long as you still have the bumper support on underneath.

as long as your actual bumper is there, they don't care so much about a bumper cover being gone...

your wheelwell liners will drag on the ground/tires..

hey vortex, i already know how to fix it... its the mounts on the actual bumper itself need to be re-fiberglassed, i itried bolting it on tight as fuck with some washers but it kept comin loose so i just shoe-laced it on there hood style,.BUT if you know of anyway to fix it without all that work. DO let me know

When you re-fiberglass it, glass it heavy and glass in some medium sized washers for reinforcement. I did that on mine, owned - NEVER came lose, NEVER cracked. :)

I should that to my rear bumper...it's falling the hell off. Body shop did a terrible job putting it on, and lining it up.

I see people without the bumper cover all the time. Front and back bumper completly off too somtimes and they haven't been pulled over. The most I've seen was getting a warning to fix it.
