They look good. They kinda remind me of the Police Interceptor's steelies.

Did you have them balanced after you received them? I see a weight on the rim clearly in tire1.jpg. If you did, and they added that weight, then I'd be a bit annoyed with tires.com for claiming the tires had already been balanced. If you didn't, then you missed a weight :)

Speaking of weight, yes, that extra 9 lbs may have an effect on your acceleration, especially considering that the assembly has the highest density another inch out from the center of rotation. This could also ultimately affect handling and control.

No more 14'' steelies for me....

Woohoo for 15'' steelies! LOL. yeh some of you may think its rice and all to upsize to a 15'' steel wheel, but hey I don't care for good looking wheels on the car since im not gonna do anything else to the looks of the car. Also its a difference of 600 dollars.

So they are 15x6 steel wheels as opposed to the 14x5 that came stock. The ups shipping label said it was 45 lbs for the wheels and tire mounted on it....and it feels like :(. The stock ones I actually weighed and came in at 36 lbs, with wheel and tire. So I will see how much it kills me acceleration-wise.

For the tires, they are Yokohama AVS ES100's (whole point of getting larger wheels was to get some summer tires) in 195/55/15 (will go larger width next summer, but for now I will see how they do). I really wanted the goodyear eagle f1 g3ds (or is it gsd3??), but they always sell out fast and are on backorder for two months.

Mounted, balanced (supposively but I see no weights >_<), valve stems, wheels and tires, certificates for the tires, and shipped (free though) all came out to 442 and change after a 25 dollar rebate for the tire. From tires.com. Excellent customer service and less than 3 days for delivery from ohio.

Haha see how dirty they were when i got them... You get to see part of what happens when you let a woman drive in the snow (JUST KIDDING!!!!!) on my front fender.

Hope I put the wheels on the right way....

Just took it out for a drive in the rain. Even though they arent broken in, it handles better than my stock tires did when they were on dry road...so I feel its worth it already.

If your worried about weight so much why not get some lightweight alright looking ones? LoL. Although you do got a point, 600 dollars does add up.
