need help with LED install, ASAP plz!!

    need help with LED install, ASAP plz!!

    Yea so my car is apart in my driveway since I'm trying to install some LED's...

    The problem?

    I got the LED's from www.oznium.com with some resistors..so I went ahead and soderd(sp??) the resistor on to one end of the LED and then hooked it up directyl to the cig lighter power...I took some pix to show you....


    Now the problem is that no light was emited!! I even tried turning my car all the way on....anyone know why??? here are the pix....

    first thing u need to do is make sure you got the polarity right... make sure the anode (longer wire) of the LED is connected to the positive (live) wire, and the Cathode (the shorter wire, and cut side) is connected to the Negative (earth) side. If that doesnt work.. you may have another problem.

    not terribly important... usually on the cathode tho..

    hahaha I'm such a moron!! Do you see the other harness in the first pic? well I shoved to two leads off the LED into that and BAM! the sucka works fine!! haha I'll take pix when im done thx for helpin!!

    not a problem... i was going to suggest that it needs to go off the grey wire for the cig lighter... but i thought you had it under control :D
