    This is meant to speed up production costs, but does anyone see this as a potential security fastener? Oh, you want to swap out your gauges? Perhaps your shift knob? nah, sorry.. you're gonna have to bring it into a dealer and pay them to swap it out.

    What if your entire car were made up of these fasteners. Then all an auto thief would have to do is press a button and your door would just fall off.
