    toyota Volta being released!

Ok, don't get too excited kids. MSRP is going to be $72k due to limited production (probably because you can't mass produce a carbon fiber chassis).. Now if they made a lower model with an aluminum chassis, maybe people could actually afford it. Nice specs though

    3.0 liter v-6 with 408hp, 32mpg, and goes 0-60 in 4 seconds

Question is, if you could really afford it, would you care about MPG?

that glossynews site is a hoax website.

as for the toyota link, that's just concept cars, doesn't mean it'll be made or anything.

btw, just found this out on the toyota nation baord, priapus is a form of the word priapism, which means a state of constant erection, lol.

This car is just a publicity stunt. There has never been an official word about the production of this car. Nothing more and nothing less. Toyota will never put this car into production since it's insurance will be too high plus this car is no good for everyday commute. I hope Toyota comes out with the new generation Lexus IS430 with a V8. That would be much more exciting.

That is exactly it... have a look at the other articles down the side and on the ticker bar down the bottom... you will soon see it is a hoax.

well. i think it looks badass, and the performance is unbelievable. that is exactly why toyota WON'T do it. I'm still amazed that they finally put the 2zz/6spd combo in the corolla. We've only been suggesting it for 4 years lol.

If you can afford that car, you don't care about gas mileage, but hey - who's going to be upset that their 408hp sportscar gets better mileage than a camry? It's a win-win situation.

well i don' thtink it's so much "wow, my mpg is great" as the fact that the buyer won't have to pay a gas guzzler tax, which can get pretty expensive.
