It's SUPER easy to do with out taking apart the glass.

Pull the headlight out. Go in through the hole for the blinker/corner light. The amber reflector is held on by a LITTLE tab, put force on the reflector to break the tab off. Then use the 3 bulb hole to go in with scissors and break apart the reflector as you break pieces pull them out through the holes. SO EASY! You'll be left with some amber shavings probably, try to blow them out.

To take the headlight out, take the grill off, take the top two bolt out of the headlight. Unscrew the mudflap so you can disconnect the bumper just on the sides of the car. The last screw is located on the outboard side of the headlight.

I did the headlights myself, for the tails, they were a pair of altezzas that I painted with "Testers" Transparent Candy Apple Red paint. But it wears off every 6 months and you have to do it again. So I wouldn't go that route, I would just buy the all red ones they have out...you can pick them up on ebay for $40.

I think what brownbanana is trying to say is that "JDM Sytle" requires the blacked out caseing as well.

BTW. the altis is not sold in Japan, therefore it's not JDM style.

Actually if you seen the TYC blacked out headlights, they look just like the black jdm headlights but with the orange marker. but there suppose to have better lighting, but they dont come with the extra light spot as the JDM has, thats the only advantage i think with the JDM, cause you can put in show strobes or city lights. But its your choice.

just because it's aftermarket, doesn't mean it's JDM....and just because it's labeled JDM oesn't mean it's JDM. Everyone just loves to slap JDM on import products for some reason.
