    grip driving? meh?

if you mean track-only applications, Hoosier tire is one of the best you can get.

lol, you should see mine........ down to the cords........ fronts are on the rear now with only half the contact patch in great thanks to CAMBER! and the fronts are the old rears with about 40% tread left

but theyre soldiers........ picked up full SECONDS at the auto-x as opposed to "street" tires

i've got fuzion ZRi, tehy're really grippy (compared to stock anyways) and they were only like 95 bucks each for 225/50R16, W-rated i think, and a load rating of 92. They're great in dry, and in rain too. Haven't driven tem in snow yet, so who know about that.

tire wear ratings mean nothing if you actually drive your car in a manner consistent with the tires purpose

its a waste of money for you guys to buy these performance tires that only drive on the street and want to look cool..... you DO NOT drive as hard on the street as you would on a track, so its your own money your wasting

but lets all look for cool looking tires like the BFG scorchers...... those are super mega tyte yo

falkens are better than the prada spec2's BUT azenis have 200 treadrating and the prada's have a 300 treadrating...so the pradas have longer life. Also the pradas come in 205/40/16 and the azenis dont...thats the only reason i got em over the azenis.

did I say that? no, you said that

I'm saying two tires equal in stickiness I'd pick the non-falken ones cause I don't like the looks

LOL them color stripes ish hella tite..

But great thing about azenis is they're pretty cheap for performance tires only about $10 more then the Zeix 512 at America Tire's CO. And even better since I have them mounted on my stock steelies.. Only drawback is I keep hearing people say these tires are real heavy.

I paid $347 total on tires.com, but that was when they had that sale($25 instant rebate)

Hes right tho. Most ppl dont even NEED azenis if all they do is drive street. They are wasting their money since there are plenty of street tires that grip very well for day to day driving. If your driving around town pushing your azenis to the limit then your a dumbass.

I got pradas because im always in the canyons but i still want a decent treadwear for day2day. It was a good compromise plus they were on sale

i've got Fuzions, and i actually slipped with them the other day for the first time, so i do push my tires to the limit even on teh street.

it was weird, i lost my back end, even though it's obviously a fwd car. (no, i wasn't using the e-brake  )

Turbo is right, yes you may need stickier tires for the street, but for only street driving something like Azenis are a waste.

The Falken Zeix 512's are pretty good tires for street driving, and you can use them in all weather as well.
