    Lighted Pedals

Hey everyone, when you install lighted pedals... and you wire it into the car's power, can I run that into the fuse box behind the dash? And if so, how would I go about doing it, and what size fuse should I use? That particular box has a few open spaces for fuses, so I figured I could wire it into it to be safe...

Pics of the pedals tomorrow, when I get the wiring installed better...

I wired my wife's pedals up by just splicing into one of the wires on the fusebox.. didn't bother using a fuse, though I probably should have. Just make sure you use zip ties to attach the wires to the pedals, and make sure all excess wire is tucked away. all my wife's wires got cut when I accidently stepped on them.

Save your old pedals because your news ones shouldn't pass inspection.

Yea, when you take your car to be inspected. Those pedals are illegal. You won't pass inspection in most states (if not all) with them on. You'll have to replace them with stock ones in order to pass.

Am I blanking out or something? Are you saying, like for the DMV? Or is there some other reason why I need my car inspected? Maybe I'm just to drunk to remember right now (35 min typin job here)

WOHO they work, I've wired them into the light for the cigarette lighter, so they work when the lights are one ;)

There aren't inspections in California. It's a ridiculous free for all here. Lots of nice rusted out, run down mexican cars.
