I used the stopwatch on my cellphone and got a 10.1 0-60 with intake and muffler on my 2001 Automagic.

im gunna estimate i run 0-60 in a 8-9 second period... i got a 98 manual with CAI and 2.25" catback. rollin on steelies with a hyperground system... ill go stopwatch it tommorow.

im too used to riding with the AC on now that its summer, so i might get more excited when i feel more of a gain when i turn my AC off...

my 99 auto-tragic with CAI/exhaust pulled a mind-numbing 10.4 as its best 0-60 run. This was g-tech verified, which I have personally tested at Moroso and proven it to be quite accurate.

My current 5-spd 03 rolla is in the low 8-sec range on 0-60 with CAI/exhaust.

    0~60 on a 98' rolla ever?

hmm.....it seems that no one is interested in testing 98~02 rolla for its ability to accelerate from 0~60 (at least those car magazines aren't!)

has anyone tested that before with no mod. just stock 98~02 rolla?

    curious....

in my 2000 5sp i used a stop watch on my own and i got roughly 10 seconds. I think i could probably get it down to 9 if i got a good launch and if my tires werent bald from doing so many burnouts. :D

I know the 0-60 for the stock 00-02 model with the 125 HP 1ZZ FE engine. It was 8.9 secs with a 5 speed manual. (Source: Car and driver). For the 98-00 model, it had 5 less HP and had a non-VVT-i engine so that must be in the mid-9 seconds.

thx for the info, ppl!! :)
that's a bit "slow" than I expected from our rola.....*sigh*

ok...I got another question then, without putting in a turbo/engine swap. Just some minor mod (CAI, exhaust system...etc.) how much can we improve on the acceleration?

not much... with manual and with I.H.E modifications, expect as much as 1-1.5 second improvement...that may be too high.. w/ auto? prob .25-.75 second improvement...
