    Easy low cost mods for corolla

    Hi. New here, just "bought" an 02 corolla S manual.
    I don't know much about performance mods. I want tweak it a little.
    So can anyone recommend some performace mods I could start off with?
    I know I don't want one of those loud annoying mufflers...

    and a 02 has coil packs remember.
    But Intake, exhaust are hard to say, do 2.25 inch piping from you cat to the resonator and then 2.25 inch piping from the resonator to a TRD muffler.

    A TRD muffler is not really loud but its still a performance muffler

    Intake, exhaust..suspension (strut bar, springs, struts)..maybe a pulley.

    Then you run into expensive stuff -- clutch, flywheel, nitrous, turbocharger, etc. :p
