Ground points... please tell me if I've done wrong! LARGE PICTURES

I install my Sun HGS and HVS today and was wondering if I've chosen the correct path and points for my ground points. I'm assuming I haven't. I also think I may have made a mistake on the intake manifold but didn't know where else to put it...



I'm worried about the engine hanger... it was a little warm (not burning) after a 10 minute drive, so I'm wondering if it is too close to the exhaust manifold... isn't this where one ground is supposed to be? I'm worried...

it works but damn, those pics are HUGE!

Looks pretty close to the same installation as mine. I wouldn't worry about the heat...that wire is heat resistant.

I haven't really opened up on my car after installation... but today I did feel a little bit of punch (again don't expect too much)

The directions say: "Locate 5 grounding points. Each vehicle may be different." You did it right. I hooked up the 3 wires to my engine cover stud (same thing as the cylinder head bolt, both are attached to the head). I don't have an engine hangar, so I hooked that one to the shield behind the engine. I can feel the dif and it was noticable to several others, so I must have done it right ......and I'm sure you did also

Did it help any? Did anything catch on fire?
If the respective answers are "Yes" and "No", then you probably did it right.

All joking aside, did it give you any performance increase? Maybe there's no real "wrong way" to put it on, but perhaps there are better gains to be had the more "right" you do it...

I felt a slight difference in the electronics in the car (power windows, lights, etc...), I'm just worried about the wires getting too hot, ubt if you say they are good to go, I'm alright with it

If you look at your engine, there are smaller wires with less coating sitting right on the exhaust manifold. If they don't melt, then I think the Hyper wires are more than safe!

Just a "slight difference"? The webpage makes it seem like you'll feel it in the seat of your pants...

Still, if it seems to make the electrical accessories work better (such as keeping the lights from dimming when rolling up and down windows, etc) then I guess it's worth something.

but where can i buy it , it says nothing on where i can buy it

Look under forums: 2nd group buy for Sun Hypervoltage system. It's the cheapest way to buy it. Alpha-vvti did the first group buy and is now starting a second one.

sounds like alpha is somehow making money from these things
