eh...i would say that you don't need it unless you're past 200 HP

I still dont see the correlation between hp ratings and brake systems. There was a big argument about this a while back.....

i think it's the general overall speed...the bigger the brakes, the better the stopping power from a higher speed...

although, i'm neglecting to mention the weight issue...because if the vehicle's heavier then it absolutely needs larger brakes.

but i also look at the Aveo hatchback "SS" we have at work, and it's got big disks up front for such a small and power-lacking vehicle...of course, that one's got the entire show package(dealer kit, rims, dual exhaust, bigger brakes, and graphics).

Right, but just because you have a turbo doesnt mean you will be going faster.
Regardless of whetner or not you have a turbo, if you are going 110 consistantly in your corolla, and you need to brake hard, a big brake system would be beneficial.

But to say " I just installed a turbo, now I need a big brake system to compensate" is ludicrous.

    Brakes

I am thinking about doing a brake upgrade. I either want to change out my rotors to drilled and slotted and upgrade the pads or i was going to go with a big brake kit. I was wondering which one would be the best to go with?

unless you're doing severe power upgrades, you don't need big brakes.

just get brembro rotors (NOT the slotted/drilled ones, just regular) and a set of good pads, maybe EBC Greenstuffs.
