why would the stock unit be a piece of shit? Your car is still stock...

buy another stock or go to monkeywrenchracing.com and buy a Stage 1

I'm happy with my ACT clutch from Monkeywrench..if you can afford it, replace the flywheel while you're at it.

his car doesn't require a stage 3. a stage one is more than enough.

you're also gonna want a new clutch cover and throwout bearing.....and re surface your flywheel.

I've got the TRD Japan Clutch and clutch cover.......It cost me total about $550 for all the parts i needed. I wouldn't expect to find anything better than stock for cheap.

I just ordered an ACT TC2-HDSS and Fidanza flywheel #130231 for the 2000 Celica GT which fits the 2000 Corolla (I checked with Fidanza) from www.Ultrarev.com. $295 for the clutch and $330 for the flywheel.

bro i had the same problems with my clutch, i had to travel a far distance driving at 5th gear running at 80KPH only, that sucks, the buses and trucks behind me were so pissed...

but i recently got the ASCO-AISIN (JDM) clutch disk and clutch cover, and they feel quite ok...

stock clutch personally is better, it has a smooth feel to it... trust me...

i wish i had the stock clutch from the new RAV-4, i personally like the feel of the RAV-4's clutch, the asian market version that is...

I haven't used a new stock clutch, so I can't really say -- but my ACT one is very streetable, while at the same time isn't reluctant to grab on a hard shift.

    Awesome Clutches

My best friend has his own clutch shop. He can get you anything your little heart desires. Aluminum, Iron flywheels whatever you want. He is a god when it comes to clutches!!! If you have any questions give him a call, Ryan @ (714) 227-5395 or shoot him an email: RHmotorsports@hotmail.com. He is working on a clutch for my '05 rolla XRS. Its going to be bad ass!!

let him know that Brad referred you!!

    enjoy!
