ATi video card owners, I need your help...

    ATi video card owners, I need your help...

    I have an All-In-Wonder 9600 that was working great until I installed the current drivers off the website. Now my TV doesn't work. If I install the original drivers off the CD, everything is great. The drivers prior to the current ones worked fine as well, but I don't have them anymore. Does anyone have the prior drivers?     you need to install the software for ur tv. They update it as well when u download the drivers

    It's not as easy as that man. It's the new drivers. I even updated the multimedia center. I tech support and troublshoot for a living.

    Yeah - I ran into the same thing - updated the drivers and got better framerates, but lost some functionality. You should be able to download the older Catalyst version from the ATI site - I used a search string of "Previous Drivers and Software" and it popped up stuff for Catalyst 5.1. Or you can try http://www.rage3d.com/ - a big ATI forum that also has links to older versions of Catalyst and possible work arounds for the new driver issues.

    u can still get the older 4.7 catalyst if that worked for u...
    You had the original drivers on ur video card all this time?
    Which windows do u have?

    i never had good luck with the drivers off the web, the newest drivers never worked right. i'm still using the ones on the cd. i hardly ever use the tv, i forgot about it, lol

    I use the TV to record all my shows that I watch, since I'm never around. I'm really annoyed that it's not working.

    i recorded several shows before, but whenever a show would have bass in it, it would distort in the recording. whenever i want to record something, i use my tivo., if i want to record something on my computer, i'll use pinnacle studio, no distortion there, looks better too

    Have you tried Omega Drivers for ATI. Supposed to be better than ATI's actual drivers.
