    Your opinion please

OK, so I've got my new headlights ready to go in but I can't decide what color I want to make the halos... blue or white... (If I go with white I will get hyper white bulbs to get rid of the yellow) So let me know what you think in the poll and then let me know why here. Thanks! :D

Here's both options without headlights on...

Go with blue. The white has too much yellow in it.

Blue looks nicer - but you may get less crap from cops if you run the white halos.

Go with blue. The white looks too yellow.

Thanks for the replies everyone. If I go with white I will get Hyper white bulbs to hopefully get rid of the yellow. As for the blue, I'm not worried about the cops at all.

Yeah, Turismo we do have the same headlights... what a shock! ;) I got some Maruta bulbs for the lows and I'll see about getting something for the highs. Did you put blue lights in your Halos? The only pics I've seen of them are "white" from the stock bulbs. How are the 100w bulbs holding up, rather how is the housing holding up?

For right now I'm keeping the inside marker lights. We'll see how I like them when they're installed.

Hmm...never heard of Maruta bulbs but hey, they look blue enough so theyre aight....I put some like lights that have that bluish tint in both of my halos...they look so much better than that crap yellow bulb it came with and plus they're like the same exact color as my headlights...not too blue but blue enough....I dont know exactly what kinda they are because the packaging was in like Japanese or something....I got it from the shop that FastRolla96 works at...the housing is holding up perfectly....I love how my friends tell me how I look like a high dollar car when im behind them.....the 100w bulbs are awesome, theyve lasted for as long as ive had them in, and they're definately as bright as what id like them to be (closest to HID for me)...

It may be different for you, but I didnt keep the orange stripe things because it doesnt really "compliment" the halos enough so I just got rid of the bulb for them....

:dead :welcome: I saw this poll in the left side bar. . .

Your picture for the white is misleading because they are the stock yellowish bulbs. I'd go with some hyper-white bulbs- they would match any other "blue" bulbs that you might have (corners, bumpers, etc) You might also consider making the inner marker hyper-white or blue, also, what ever you do to the halos.

    El oh El !

Yeah, this thread is definitely back from the dead. I went with hyperwhite bulbs and they look nice. The blue would have been too much.

That's what I thought before I got pulled over for my blue LEDs. It's best to stick with a brighter white LED and go all out and get a retro fit if you can.
