He had it for less thatn a year since he crashed it. It had an issue with the transmission goin out of sync, and the gears not wanting to go in, and all the bottom panels were kind of rusted. It was a nice car anyway. But I can tell you that Italian cars are temperamental! The engine never really failed, but he crash it badly enough that he had to junk it. sad day indeed!

there is a 77 for sale by me. 46k miles for $6500. what is the performance like? how are they reliability wise? i imagine getting new parts for them would be a pain in the ass though.

Muy brother had a 79 I think it was and it was a GHB or something like it. It was a hatch. They are nice, but pretty exotic. If you were to get one, this is the only part where you would buy parts from:

    http://www.international-auto.com/

He also had a Alfa Romeo Verde GTV6

Woohoo! That thing was mad nice! We got a lot of parts from that website, and tehy are top notch. IMHO an Alfa Romeo would be a better investement than the Lancia, but they are both nice cars, fun cars, and money-pit cars!

My vote is for an alfa romeo spyder! Those are fun!! :D
